Confirm before sensitive changes, and passkeys as a second factor

The workspace asks you to confirm it is you before changes to how you sign in, and a passkey now counts as the second factor after a password.

Signing in to the workspace got two additions that protect an account when a session is left open or a password leaks.

  • A passkey as the second factor. After your password, a fingerprint, face or PIN on your device completes the sign-in, where two factors are required.
  • Confirm it is you. Changing your password, passkeys, second factors or trusted browsers asks you to confirm your sign-in if it is older than a few minutes.
  • One change ends the rest. Any change to how you sign in ends your other sessions and trusted browsers.
  • An email for every change, so you notice one you did not make.
